For nearly 175 years, Toronto’s De La Salle College has made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. De La Salle called on 52 Pick-up to help them raise funds for their amazing New Student Life Centre—a remarkable new campus hub designed to serve current and future generations of students and faculty.

52 Pick-up responded with Spark the Spirit, a capital campaign that seeks to raise 12 million dollars over three years for the construction of their new Student Life Centre. Our campaign theme invites participation as it encourages their students, parents, alumni, faculty, and friends of the school to show their love and pride for De La Salle.

The campaign’s vibrant visual identity, complete with its four “D’s” that reveal a spark, align with the school’s mission to provide children with more opportunities to grow spiritually, intellectually, artistically and physically, fostering Christian virtues and principles inspired by the worldwide Lasallian movement.

Our campaign website (www.sparkthespirit.ca) explains why the potential donors should support the campaign and gives a glimpse of the new facility design as it explains the different ways donors can give, including naming sponsorships.

Digital advertising, a printed donor guide, more web, email, signage, branded merchandise, social media, video, and other activities will all help spread the word and generate interest and excitement for this vital effort in the months ahead.

As the Spark the Spirit campaign moves into its public phase, all indicators point to its success with several major donors expressing interest and pledging their support. As huge fans of the school and campaign contributors ourselves, we look forward to seeing how Spark the Spirit enables De La Salle to advance its vital mission.
