When Eden Oak took over the Oak Bay project in Port Severn, they engaged 52 Pick-up to rebrand the ailing project and help them market a new release of homes in the next phase. The challenge was significant. The original phase of the project had sold out and was built, but none of the amenities promised had been built before the previous owners sold it to Eden Oak. The property itself had been neglected and was in dire need of an infusion of positive energy. Rumours and gossip had damaged the reputation of the project and it was going to take a strong and positive campaign to build trust and gain purchasers’ confidence in the future of Oak Bay.

52 Pick-up undertook a complete rebrand of the project, aligning it with the Oak Bay Golf Club and encouraging the client to create more contemporary product in a range of price points that would work for people seeking permanent as well as vacation residences. The property was cleaned up and the Presentation Centre was updated and modernized.

We positioned Oak Bay as a Golf and Marina Community, emphasizing its location on Georgian Bay and its upscale yet affordable homes and the many advantages of living here.

We created a dramatic video to showcase all of the advantages of the community including an active, waterfront lifestyle and golf course, social and recreational amenities and a convenient marina. The video tells the story of a single woman finding happiness and meaning at Oak Bay.

We designed a comprehensive website to showcase the new releases of homes and all of the amenities as well as provide important information about the area. A beautiful brochure, detailing the various residential components of the Oak Bay community with a compelling amenities section detailing the superb lifestyle available here. An an action-packed advertising campaign, including social media and digital advertising, alignment with area brokers, and aggressive sales strategies contributed to a steady stream of prospects and sales.

At the end of the day, Oak Bay was resurrected into a viable and compelling community attracting purchasers from Barrie and Toronto and enabling the developer to initiate the building of the long-awaited amenities sought by all of the purchasers.
